New challenge ahead
After holding various professional positions and after 3 years at a software start-up where I gained a lot of experience in product development and contributed to geoimpact AG becoming a successful tech start-up in the energy and data sector, I am looking for a new challenge.

From fascination to a business idea
I have been fascinated by games since my youth - I have already designed several board and card games - one of which I would now like to turn into a computer game.

My Role
I see my role mainly in game design (game mechanics, rules, level design), but also in assigning clear goals and tasks as product owner (PO). I will also take on tasks wherever there is work to be done, be it in storytelling, marketing, parts of the programming in C#, creating art or administrative tasks.

Creative Lead & Community

The Power of Interactivity
Art and design have been with me since I was able to hold a pen. As art historians and furniture designers, my parents certainly had a formative influence on my creativity, and artistic development was both worked with and lived. I chose the path of game design because of its unique element of interactivity. An image can be captivating, and a moving image even more so – but the ability to influence it? That was fascinating to me.

Success and Passion
Right after completing my studies, I co-founded Stray Fawn Studio and played a key role in the success of two shipped games – one of which, Niche - a genetics survival game, became the studio's breakthrough title. My contributions included leading the sound design development and contributing to art assets, game mechanics, and many responsibilities for the Kickstarter campaign.

My role: New challenges and responsibilities
At PEC Game Design, I am fully responsible for two tasks: serving as the Art and Sound Lead on one hand, and managing the community on the other.
Mattia Metry
Lead Developer

Starting my dream
My journey started as a full-stack web developer. I then obtained my Bachelor in Computer Science with a focus on game development and design, where I gained experience working in interdisciplinary teams with artists, designers, and engineers. This exposure led me to freelance as a technical artist before joining this team.

Curiosity is key
Driven by technology and curiosity

‍Ever since I first started playing video games in my childhood, I've always been curious about the systems and technology behind the games. Today, that same curiosity drives me to explore new technologies and create interactive experiences that blend art and tech seamlessly.

‍My Role in the team
‍As Lead Programmer, I am responsible for everything technical, from developing core game logic to ensuring seamless player experiences and creating tools for smooth content and art integration. I primarily work with Unity and C# to build well-designed systems that are robust, maintainable, and extensible.

OUR TEAM
We are very happy about the additional members of our team since May 2025:
Clément Chapelle
Sounddesigner & Musician

Passion for Play
I was five years old when I first held a game controller, and I’ve never let go.
That passion naturally evolved into a love for creating games. Over the years, I’ve taught myself the many roles involved in game development, from design to sound.

Since I was a child
I’ve always been drawn to artistic expression, especially music. I started with piano and guitar, then discovered digital audio workstations (DAWs) and I was hooked. I’ve now been composing original tracks for over a decade.

My Role
In our team, my main mission is to compose the music and design all the sound effects for the game, from eerie growls to the satisfying clash of swords!
I also contribute to marketing and communication tasks to help bring our vision to life.
Andreas Etter
Artist & Animator

Following My Passion
The act of creation has been my lifelong passion. Whether drawing or crafting, I have always been fascinated by turning imagination into reality. Discovering the digital world made transitioning into game development feel like a natural step. Over the years, I worked on several small indie solo game projects, inspired by the games that shaped my journey. However, the scope often felt overwhelming, making me long for collaboration and shared creativity.

Growth Is Fun
Once I embraced my true passion, I realized that artistic growth is one of the most fulfilling experiences. My curiosity drives me toward constant improvement in everything I love doing. As a result, honing my craft and pushing my skills forward has become my greatest pursuit.

My Responsibilities
At PEC Game Design, I primarily focus on card and UI art, sprite animation, and any artistic tasks that may come my way in the future.
